The morning before the first day of classes saw the entire faculty and staff gathered in the DJ Sokol Chapel for a morning or reflections lead by Fr. Eugene McReynolds OSB a member of Mount Michael's monastic community who lives and works at Boys Town.
Fr. Eugene focused on several different topics. He gave pointers and emphasis on the importance of teaching more than content. The daily task of teaching life skills to our students is of great significance. The later part of the retreat put emphasis on the importance of spirituality in our daily lives to keeps us anchored.
